Opioids

Opioids are types of drugs that are used to reduce pain, however they can be misused and become addictive. Examples of opioids are codeine (Tylenol 1, 2, 3 or 4), morphine, oxycodone (Percocet), hydromorphone (Dilaudid), fentanyl, and heroin.

If you do become pregnant, you should not stop taking opioids as withdrawal can cause problems in your pregnancy and baby. You may increase your risk of possible complications such as miscarriage or early labour.
